On the trip to the lobby, Dave seemed to be the only one who was completely sure of himself. Brian admired his experience and confidence and deeply desired to follow in his footsteps. He looked at Andy, usually so cool, now so uncomfortable! He smiled to himself. Then there was Jason, who used to be ok to hang around with, but what was going on with him lately? Whatever it was, Brian was glad it led to him meeting Heather the previous night. What a blast that was, and what a cute chick!

The elevator doors opened, they walked past the security guards and outside, and suddenly all three of the younger men had renewed confidence, walking down 6th Avenue on a chilly Saturday with their fearless leader. Wow, Brian thought, I'm really goin' places now.

  1. Hey Scott,

Just found this on Web Fiction Guide. I've been looking for something like this for a long time! The "Web Soap" fascinates me, and I've been trying hard to find a daily to read. I can't wait to get into it.

I have a daily "soap opera" myself if you'd like to check it out: http://mystoriesareon.wordpress.com/

    Best of luck with this!

    1. Hey C.J., thanks so much for the comment! I hope you enjoy the ongoing story. I've been looking for another one to read, too. Yours looks pretty cool, though it'll take me quite a while to read it all! By the way, why don't you sign your name to your work? I don't even know if you're male or female!

  2. Haha I suppose I'm a fan of anonymity! Also, I've read up until today's date, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it's going, especially with Aggie's mystery gang member. I like the brevity of your posts. There's just enough to make me come back!

  3. Great story so far, Scott! I love that even with the short instalments the pacing feels good; although I must admit I've read the whole series so far in about 40 minutes. I am looking forward to coming back daily from now on.
